- Když jsem nahoře psala recenzi divila jsem se, že tato kniha je tady u nás už od roku 2019. To není možné! Já měla pocit, že tak maximálně rok nebo dva. No o knize jsem jednou dvakrát slyšela ale nenapadlo mě si ji přečíst, až jednou takhle přišlo oznámení od humbook, že spisovatelka se objeví na letošním humookfesivalu2023. No a tak přítel byl moc hodný a knihu od této spisovatelky mi v Dobrovských koupil.
- Samotná kniha mě hnedka od začátku překvapila, co se jedná emočně. Má dva hlavní hrdiny a to Juliet a Declana. Oba tito hrdinové přišli o někoho důležitého. Juliet o svou maminku, kterou každou chvilku navštěvuje na hřbitově. Vzhledem k tomu, že její maminka byla reportážní fotografka, tak se doma moc neohřála a tak ji Juliet neustále psala dopisy. No a psát je nepřestala ani po její smrti, kdy je napsané nosila a nechávala na jejím pomníku.
- Jednoho dne si dopisu všimne Declan, a to během svých prospěšných prací a na dopis jí odpoví. Což se ale Juliet samozřejmě nelíbí a tak mu znovu odpoví, až si takhle vlastně společně postupem času uvědomí, že vlastně mají více společného než si vlastě myslí. Oba ale samozřejmě netuší s kým si vůbec píší, a to i když následně po dopisech přejdou na emaily ale pořád se sbližují a sbližují.
- Oba hrdinové jsou opravdu zajímavými postavami, které mají své problémy a musí se s nimi naučit vypořádat. Miluji dopisy, které si Declan s Juliet vyměňují. Situace ve kterých se Declan a Juliet objevují mě nutili se usmívat a já mezi nimi cítila tu chemii od úplného začátku.
- Kniha ve mně vyvolala plno pocitů, přestože už nejsem teenager. Nejdůležitějším poselstvím knihy je DŮLEŽITOST KOMUNIKACE. Mnoho problémů hlavním hrdinům a jejich rodičům způsobila nezdravá komunikace. Stačilo by, kdyby spolu lidé mluvili a nemuseli se tolik trápit. Bez komunikace porozumění není. Nikdo nejsme věštci a nevidíme do hlavy druhému. Většina lidí v příběhu se chovala, jako by tomu tak bylo. Jako by ostatní měli přece všechno vědět sami, viděli to samé co oni. Jenže každý viděl jen to své a dotvářel si podle toho pravdu, která pravdou vlastně vůbec nebyla. Utrpěly tím tak všechny vztahy.
- Kniha byla opravdu hrozně napínavá a byl problém ji jen na chvilku odložit. Za dva dny jsem ji měla dočtenou. Je to prostě kniha s napínavým dějem, u které vám potečou slzy. Rozhodně doporučuju!! Bez váhání dávám 5 hvězdiček! Rozhodně si chci někdy přečíst i druhý díl.

- When I wrote the review above, I was surprised that this book has been here since 2019. That is impossible! I had the feeling that a year or two at the most. Well, I've heard about the book once or twice, but I didn't think to read it until one day I got an announcement from humbook that the r will appear at this year's humookfesival2023. Well, my friend was very kind and bought me a book by this r in Dobrovský.
- The book itself surprised me right from the start, what is involved emotionally. It has two main characters namely Juliet and Declan. Both of these heroes have lost someone important. Juliet about her mom, whom she visits every now and then at the cemetery. Since her mom was a reportage photographer, she didn't get very warm at home, so Juliet wrote her letters all the time. Well, she didn't stop writing them even after her death, when she carried the written ones and left them on her monument.
- One day, Declan notices the letter during his community service and answers the letter. Which, of course, Juliet doesn't like and so she answers him again, when they realize together over time that they actually have more in common than they think. Of course, both of them have no idea who they are writing to, and even if they switch to emails after the letters, they keep getting closer and closer.
- Both heroes are really interesting characters who have their own problems and have to learn to deal with them. I love the letters Declan and Juliet exchange. The situations in which Declan and Juliet appear made me smile and I felt the chemistry between them from the very beginning.
- The book evoked many feelings in me, even though I am no longer a teenager. The most important message of the book is the IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION. Unhealthy communication caused many problems for the main characters and their parents. It would be enough if people talked to each other and didn't have to worry so much. There is no understanding without communication. None of us are soothsayers and we cannot see into another's head. Most of the people in the story acted as if they were. As if others should know everything themselves, they saw the same things as them. But everyone saw only their own view and shaped the truth accordingly, which was not the truth at all. All relationships suffered as a result.
- The book was really exciting and it was difficult to put it down for a moment. I finished reading it in two days. It is simply a book with an exciting plot that will bring tears to your eyes. Definitely recommend!! Without hesitation I give 5 stars! I definitely want to read the second part sometime.
