Životopis

David Alderton anglický spisovatel specializující se na domácí mazlíčky a náměty z historie přírody.Vyrůstal v domě obklopen domácími zvířaty a byl původně zaměřen na to, aby se stal zvěrolékařem avšak alergie ho donutila změnit plány na psaní o zvířatech. Od té doby se stal pravidelným přispěvatelem širokého okruhu novin a časopisů v UK a jinde a také se účastnil různých vysílání rádia a TV. V roce 2010 přesáhl počet jeho prodaných knih 5 miionů, které byly přeloženy do více než 30 různých jazyků . Předsedá National Council for Aviculture, která je zastřešující organizací pro chovatele ptactva v UK.
